Communication and language development

Children in our nurseries experience a rich language environment. They develop their confidence by learning to speak and listen in a range of situations.

Yellow Submarine Nurseries have qualified and caring teachers who host circle time every day. This is where all the children can sit together and either listen to a story, directions for an activity, have questions time, or just talk!

Physical development

Young children learn best when they're active. They develop coordination and control through movement. Children at our nursery also receive help to make healthy choices in relation to food.

Our outdoor play area at Yellow Submarine Nursery has a bridge for balance and stairs for motor skills. A slide, carousel and swing help with coordination. We can create an obstacle course, play football, or have a picnic!

Personal, social and emotional development

Our teachers help children to develop a positive sense of themselves. They learn to form good relationships and develop respect for others. Children in our care develop social skills and learn how to manage their feelings. We do exercises to help children understand appropriate behaviour in groups. Students learn to have confidence in their own abilities.

Personal, social and emotional development is learnt throughout the day. We encourage children in our care to express themselves. This helps them build self-esteem, gain confidence, and interact with others.

Literacy development

Literacy is the foundation of learning, and we have a proven method to teach it. We show children how to link sounds and letters very early so they can begin to read and write. Children interact with a wide range of reading materials to ignite their interest. With this system, children develop a love of reading and writing that will set them up for academic achievement in the future.

Parent communication on-the-go

Wouldn’t it be great to know what your child’s day is really like? To be kept up to date on the activities your child has engaged in, what food they have eaten, when they slept and even how many times they went to the toilet?

The Famly app sends out daily reports to parents containing around six photos a day of their child participating in the activities we have planned. The teachers carry out observations every two weeks and these are also shared on the app. Parents can send teachers messages and teachers can reply back.

Observations and photos from Famly are used to put together a learning journal of the child's time at the nursery. Messages are sent out for upcoming events at the nursery or when something important has to be communicated to the parent. Parents are alerted by receiving notifications on their phones.

At Yellow Submarine Nursery, all tuition fees are payable when the child first attends the nursery and are in accordance with the fee structure established by Kids First Group under the guidance of ADEK’s established School Fee Framework.

Sibling discounts – 5% and 10% savings

Upon registering a sibling, you will be rewarded with a 5% discount off the term fee for the older sibling. Once there is only one of the siblings attending nursery, the discount will be retracted. In case of triplets, you will be rewarded 10% discount off the term fee.

Online early-bird registration discount — 10% saving

When registering your child online during an early-bird offer at any Yellow Submarine Nursery, you will be rewarded with a 10% discount off the term fee.

At Yellow Submarine Nursery, the safety and security of your children is our top priority

+ Parents can only enter via the intercom system.

+ CCTV cameras at the nursery are present within the building for internal use only. These can be viewed at parent's requests.

+ Children are only permitted to leave the nursery with family members or carers registered under our child authorisation collection form. If a parent is unable to collect their child and wishes to send a relative or someone unknown to nursery staff, approval must be taken from the nursery manager upon the submission of the request in writing and their valid ID.

You will need to register online and then a representative from Yellow Submarine will be in touch to help you complete your registration. This is when you will be able to select the days and times you wish to place your child into your chosen Yellow Submarine Nursery.
